Welcome To Ask Deb About Autism

Posted by admin on Dec 30, 2008 in Featured Post |

Hello! We’re back!

Took a little hiatus to focus on family and our non-profit work. Decided that I had missed blogging and wanted to come back. I hope that you will find our new Ask Deb About Autism Blog not just a blog, but an informative piece. But, we need your help.

This is a two-way street. We plan to write about everything under the sun (and then some). But, we need your input. Please comment here. Send story suggestions. If there is something that you want researched, let us know. We’ll gladly dig into it (pro and con). We want Ask Deb About Autism to be YOUR autism forum for autism therapy, autism information and autism education.

Thank you for reading and may God continue to bless you and your family.

Just to say that I love your blog and I totally agree with you – writing does help you cope and also helps us to process our emotions.

Amen, Chun.
And it has been far too long since I’ve been able to write. I’ve been the executive director of an autism 501 c 3 for the past 3 years and as you can imagine, it took an incredible amount of time and energy. I missed this part of my life though. Having dialog with other parents and being able to research and help in this capacity. Putting a “voice” to your emotions is very therapeutic.

If you (as a fellow blogger) would like to guest blog or have any suggestions, please let me know!

I look forward to hearing from you.

Blessings,

Deb
